About DS Soap and Candle Co.

What started with a love for handmade soap and candles has grown into something I never could have imagined.

I began making soap and candles in 2018, originally creating them for my hair clients. Over time, I found myself wanting to create more—not just products that smelled wonderful, but things that could bring a little comfort, relaxation, and self-care into everyday life.

Some of my favorite products actually began because I needed them myself.

My magnesium products are a perfect example. I originally started making magnesium products while looking for something to help with issues I was experiencing personally. After seeing how much I enjoyed using them, they became part of DS Soap and Candle Co.—and eventually some of the products my customers came to love too.

From there, DS continued to grow.

Today you'll find handmade bath and body products, candles and home fragrance, cozy handmade pieces, and thoughtfully curated self-care gifts—all created or chosen with one idea in mind:

Self-care doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's a warm candle, a favorite scent, a soft blanket, a relaxing bath, or simply giving yourself permission to slow down.

DS Soap and Candle Co. is still a small business. Products are made, packed, selected, and sent with the same personal attention that was there when I made those very first bars of soap.

And I'm incredibly grateful that something that started so simply has grown into a place where I get to create things that bring a little comfort and joy into other people's homes.
